The top 10 athletes in each event earned a spot to compete in the Russ Plicher Top 10 meet in Missoula last Tuesday. There were 35 schools represented throughout western Montana. Warm Spring weather and tough competition was the theme for the Whitefish A.R.M. Invitational meet in Whitefish last Saturday. On Thursday the Blue Hawks and Trotters/Horsemen traveled to Bigfork to partake in the Steve Hullett Invitational. With 27 holes, many hazards and several bunkers, the Eagles Bend golf course was quite the challenge. Coach Kati Mitchell said that the week went really well for the Trotters softball varsity and JV teams. On Thursday the varsity team traveled to Missoula to take on the Loyola Breakers. Plains and Hot Springs track and field teams were amongst the 23 schools that partook in the Darby/Florence Invitational last Wednesday in Corvallis. The Blue Hawks softball team led with flying colors at Tuesday's home game against the Whitefish Bulldogs.
