Hot Springs Police Department is taking applications for the position of PART TIME or FULL TIME police officer. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen; of legal age to perform the duties of this job under MT law; possess a MT driver’s license, possess MT POST certification; and or be able to obtain same within twelve (12) months of hire; Must be able to handle several tasks simultaneously; be able to react quickly and effectively in stressful situations; work days, nights, weekends, holidays. The Town of Hot Springs offers a benefits package to include retirement, health and life insurance, vacation and sick leave, holidays and other optional benefits. Hourly rate of pay will be $18-20 hr. Preference can be given to applicants that currently possess a Montana POST Certification. Applicant must be employable in the State of Montana, and must pass a background check, medical, and physical screening, and psychological evaluation .
