The event began at 11 a.m. and was open to all who were interested, from beginners to those who have previous experience.     Noxon High School senior Caitlyn Hagen teamed up with resident Laura Jones and art teacher Krystal Murphy to execute a "Paint and Pop" event recently. Hagen's version of the ever-famous "Paint and Sip," is basically the same idea, just without alcohol. In addition to painting and keeping art alive in the small community, there were goodies for sale and a live auction that went on during breaks.     Two new trucks will make winter driving a little easier for City of Thompson Falls crews. On Thursday, Rehbein Ford delivered two 2018 Ford F-550 trucks complete with sanders and plows. The new trucks are versatile, city staff said Thursday. The sanding units come off and the dump sides can be removed to convert the truck into a flatbed.     The Thompson Falls girls scored 24 points and the Hawk boys 21 in the Whitefish ARM Invitational track and field meet Saturday. The Lady Hawks were led by freshmen Jody Detlaff and Josey Neesvig, who won first in the high jump and second in the 3200 meter run, respectively, while Cody Garrison placed in three events and Danny Hoisington two to pace the boys.     It was walk, walk, walk and then hit, hit, hit for the Lady Hawk softball team as Thompson Falls softball scored its first win of the season in Mission Friday, taking down Deer Lodge 19-4.
