    Twin golfing titans Ron Beaty and Gary Thompson tamed River's Bend in Over the Hill action Monday morning as both carded low-gross rounds of 41 to lead the locally famous group of gregarious golfers back to the clubhouse.     Men’s league play took a holiday – and a rainy day – at River’s Bend Golf Course last week. With the Fourth of July falling on a Thursday this year, the Wednesday Night Men’s League decided to cancel last week’s play and the Tuesday Night Men had no choice but to stand down when active thunderstorms visited Sanders County that night.
