    There were 35 golfers playing with the Over the Hill gang at River’s Bend Monday morning, but no one had a bigger day of play than Buck Adams. Adams was the star of the day in hole play for the Hill players, winning honors for the longest putts on Nos. 3, 6 and 7. Ron Beaty needed the fewest number of strokes to capture low gross honors with a 41, while Scott Garr and Sharon Pound shot the low men’s and women’s nets with rounds of 31 each, respectively.     They say the best things in life are free and here is some proof. A free basketball camp for local youngsters in grades 2 through 8 will be held at the Thompson Falls junior high gym next week.     Crew members from the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) and the Montana Conservation Corps (MCC) worked hard to improve the access points and trails surrounding Big Hole Lookout.   • Motorcyclist dies in collision with deer

    MHP reported a fatal motorcycle accident occurring Friday night around 9:45 p.m. on Prospect Creek Road. A 67-year-old man from Wallace, Idaho, was riding his motorcycle southbound when a deer entered the roadway causing the collision. The motorcycle struck the deer and then overturned, according to reports. Clark Fork Valley Hospital tended to the victim, who died shortly after from injuries sustained in the crash.     A longstanding member of Paradise was honored last Wednesday as a tribute to his selfless devotion to the community by dedicating the Agriculture Building at the Sanders County Fairgrounds to the late Clyde Terrell.
