    The Plains Horsemen welcomed the Valley Christian Eagles for their homecoming football game on Friday. The game was scoreless until the last two minutes of the game when the Eagles ran it in for a touchdown and completed the extra run to take an 8-0 lead. In the third quarter, the Horsemen scored a touchdown which was called back by a penalty.     The Blue Hawks got a homecoming win last Thursday as they welcomed the Mission Bulldogs to Thompson Falls. The Hawks won in three straight sets, 25-20, 25-17, 25-16. Senior Natalie Roberts led the Hawks as she served four of the team's 12 aces and carded six of the team's 23 digs.     The Savage Heat traveled to Gardiner on Saturday, but the long drive didn’t phase them as they came home with a 59-12 win over the Bruins. “Another conference win is always good for us,” Hot Springs Coach Jim Lawson said after Saturday’s win. “We’re working toward our goals and trying to make the playoffs.” The Gardiner trip is a two-day event for Hot Springs, as they traveled to Livingston on Friday before making the rest of the trek to Gardiner on Saturday for the game.     The Thompson Falls Blue Hawks lost their homecoming matchup against the current No. 1 team in the state, the Bigfork Vikings. The Vikings showed off why they are the top-ranked team, leaving the Hawks with a final score of 6-65.
