    The Blue Hawk cross country season is winding down, but the energy and enthusiasm from the Thompson Falls team isn't slowing. The Hawks competed last week in the Mission Shadow run at the Silver Fox Golf Course on the Salish Kootenai College campus.     The Noxon Red Devils are back on the winning side of things as the celebrated senior night last Thursday with a 42-7 home win over Gardiner. The Red Devils kept the Bruins scoreless until the fourth quarter, when Gardiner scored their only touchdown of the game.     The Thompson Falls Blue Hawks lost last week’s matchup against the Eureka Lions, 59-13. “Our depth is thin and inexperienced but we fought hard the best we could,” said Hawks head coach Jared Koskela. The Hawks started the game off with a fumble on a snap, recovered by the Lions. The Lions, unable to capitalize on this, ended up giving the ball back on a fourth-down punt.
