The Hot Springs Savage Heat football team had a bit of a slow start this season, losing their first two games on the road. Since then, however, it’s been nothing but Ws for the team. Last weekend, they extended their win streak to five as they got a win on the road over Lima, 63-12. The win most likely puts Hot Springs at the top of the Western C conference, ensuring that they will host their first playoff game. In their last five games, Hot Springs has outscored their opponents 241 - 62. The closest game has been against Noxon, a contest w...

The Plains U14 soccer team played against a high school team last week and didn't lose. But they didn't win either. The Clark Fork Soccer Alliance played fast and hard against the Mission Valley Christian Academy Eagles last Tuesday and even though the Eagles had almost twice as many players and many were twice the size of Clark Fork Soccer Alliance players, they weren't able to get the ball by keepers Andrew Wrobleski or Jacob Howell. And although the Clark Fork couldn't get one passed Eagle...
It took three years, but the Clark Fork Soccer senior girls are once again champions after defeating Petra Academy of Bozeman and Stillwater Christian of Kalispell last weekend. It was their third tournament win and the first since 2019. "These ladies have worked very hard and are playing some very enjoyable soccer - they attack with intensity and defend with poise," said head coach Nick Lawyer. In the first game of the day, Petra made it a nail-biter of a game. "Really, we seemed a bit...
