    The Santa's Shop Penguin Patch has returned this year to Thompson Falls Elementary, thanks to the Thompson Falls Parent Teacher organization (PTO). According to event organizers, this allows students an opportunity to learn to budget money and purchase gifts for themselves and family members for Christmas.     The Lady Hawks kept their win streak going with a pair of wins Tuesday against Libby, 60-22 and against Plains, 76-24, on Saturday. In Plains on Saturday, the Hawks were up by just six after the first quarter, 20-14. Both teams went to the line in double bonus in the first half. Fouls for both teams were much less in the second half as the Hawks extended their lead, besting Plains 63-17 at the end of the third quarter.     The Blue Hawks wrestlers were on the road last week, first for a set of duals in Ronan on December 14, then for the two-day CMR Holiday Classic in Great Falls. Coach Mike Thilmony was proud of his team’s performance in the Great Falls tournament, which he says is one of the toughest competitions of the season in Montana. “We had some devastating losses and tough matches but you go in prepared for that,” Thilmony said.     The Thompson Falls Blue Hawks split a pair of games last week, losing to Libby at home on Thursday and then traveling to Plains for a 54-35 win on Saturday.     The Hot Springs Savage Heat made it a home sweep Saturday as the boys and girls both beat Two Eagle River. The boys took an early lead, up 23-4 after the first quarter and 42-13 at the half.     The Savage Horsemen wrestlers placed third at the Buzz Lucey tournament in Eureka, finishing with 153.5 points behind first-place finisher Libby and second-place Eureka. Koskela and his Hawks won the state championship earlier this year when they defeated Flint Creek.
