    The Thompson Falls School Board met Monday to discuss the possibility of putting in a new multi-use structure on campus. According to superintendent Bud Scully, there is some COVID-19 funding available through the American Rescue Plan Act. Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds (ESSER) are available to numerous schools affected by COVID-19.     A new gym opened this month in Thompson Falls. Heather Thompson, owner of Work It Out Health and Fitness, says she felt there was a need for another gym in the area.     A Spokane woman pleaded not guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs Tuesday in 20th District Judicial Court. According to charging documents, Brianna Davidson was pulled over in Sanders County April 30 after the officer noticed that her Washington plates had expired.     A fire destroyed the main greenhouse at Trout Creek Gardens and Nursery in the early hours of Wednesday, May 18. No one was injured, and while the owners don't have a final total in damages, a significant amount of inventory was lost. Flathead County District Court Judge Amy Eddy dismissed the deliberate homicide charge against Rachel Bellesen. with prejudice, meaning charges cannot be brought against her again.
