The Kootenai National Forest is imposing Stage I fire restrictions, which will go into effect 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 29. Sanders County will also move to Stage I restrictions on Saturday. The bridge over the Flathead River on Highway 382 near Perma will be closed completely this weekend while crews continue a rehabilitation project.
