The Thompson Falls cross country team took to Ronan for the Canal Bank Run. The course is three miles along the canal, a dirt and gravel road, with lots of sunshine. A familiar sight at River's Bend Golf Course came crashing down Monday during Over the Hill play. About 11 a.m., Ray Marshall said he was 50 yards from the green on No. 3 when the stump of an old tree came crashing down.
