What should be done to prevent school shootings?

JEANETTE LORD, Thompson Falls – “Educate the parents to not let their kids play such violent video games.”

DIANA CURRY, Thompson Falls – “I think it should be brought down to help the individual kid. Kids shouldn’t just be passed through. The real issue is how much bullying the kid has to experience.”

KRAZY ERNIE FRANKE, Thompson Falls – “You can’t prevent all of this violence. When we grew up every house had a gun. They knew guns killed. I drove school bus for 30 years and have seen the difference between how the kids behaved then and now.”

KELLEE NEEDLES, Thompson Falls – “I think they should have military veterans at every entrance. They are trained how to protect people and to shoot accurately under fire. I come from a family of military men and women and if they had been at that school nobody would have been killed except the shooter.”

CHARITY LOEHR Thompson Falls — “Discipline your children at home and in school. It all goes hand in hand. We were disciplined and there was none of this school shootings. After I graduated from high school, neither parents nor school teachers disciplined the kids and you can see the results of that.”
