First Security Bank golfers Mike Baxter, Bill Nolen, Ben Mummert and Scott Pardee shot the low team gross of 172 and jumped into the league lead after one week of play in the Wednesday Night Men’s League at River’s Bend.
Baxter and Nolen spurred First Security to the big night by shooting the low gross and low net rounds of 38 and 34, respectively.
In other Wednesday night doings, John Pritzkau sank the long putt on No. 12, Shawn Morgan was closest to the pin on No. 14, Jesse Mack made the long putt on No. 15 disappear, Pardee smacked the long drive on No. 18 and Rick Hagedorn hit the long 55+ drive on 18.
Gary Thompson (No. 12), Darrel Torgrimson (15) and Steve Anderson (18) knocked down chip in shots.
