The Paradise Players are preparing a comedy to share with you — Blythe Spirit, by Noel Coward, at the Paradise Center May 4-6.
The play centers around a widowed writer who has now remarried. He decides to invite a medium to conduct a séance for local color for a book he is writing. The spirit who appears is his first wife, but he is the only one who can see her. And then the fun begins!
Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $13 in advance at First Security Bank in Plains and Thompson Falls, Garden Gift and Floral in Plains and D & D Liquor in Thompson Falls. Tickets are $15 at the door and student tickets are $5, available only at the door. The event is a fundraiser for The Paradise Center and the Paradise Players.
Sometimes the Paradise Players work snacks into their events. The characters eat lots of cucumber sandwiches, so some will also be for sale during intermission.
