Bear Muscle Fitness muscled up to shoot the low team gross of 178 to highlight play in Tuesday Night Men’s League action last week.
While Bear Muscular golfers Cody Mosher, John Mosher, Steve Fairbank and Steve Anderson were shooting down the low team gross, Big Bull Sports linksters Scott Pardee, Ty Pardee, Russ Yeager and Jake Helvey factored in their handicaps to come up with the low team net round of 136.
John Buckingham grabbed low individual gross honors with a 39 and Yeager was the low net winner with a 29.
In team standings, Shanks a Lot leapfrogged previous leader Feed-N-Fuel to regain first place. Bear Muscle Fitness moved into third place in the current standings and Big Bull Sports into fourth.
In other Tuesday night highlights, Dave Petteys was closest to the pin in 1 on No. 2 (recent flooding of the Bend has forced movement of the tee box on that hole), Bill Nolen said sayonara to the long putt on No. 3, Kevin Sparks was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 5, Tyler Bates knocked down the long putt on No. 6, Buckingham swung through the long drive on No. 9, and Anderson collected long-drive honors, for those driving over 55, on No. 9.
Helvey (No. 2), Ron Beaty (No. 3), Shawn Kelly (No. 6) and Ron Reedy (No. 7) all made chip-in shots part of their Tuesday night rounds.
