Huckleberry Festival sale digs into the past

As Sanders County prepares for the county-wide yard saleing event next weekend, June 22 and 23, the Trout Creek Huckleberry Festival is going through boxes of festival swag for a vintage sale of its own.

Huckleberry Festival t-shirts, tank tops, hats, visors, aprons, kid and infant wear, canvas bags, posters and more will be available for sale. The sale will be inside the Lakeside Resort Conference Room from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Trout Creek. Major credit cards will be accepted.

All of the items for sale are from past Huckleberry Festivals, from1989 to 2017, in a variety of sizes and colors. The sale of past year’s shirts and other items has been moved to the county-wide yard sale-ing event, instead of at the festival as in past years. The sale provides a chance to own a piece of huckleberry history.

All profits from this sale benefit the Huckleberry Festival for park and festival improvements. The group is a 501(c) 6 non-profit organization under the name Huckleberry, Inc.

There will be lots of great deals at this sale, including a buy one, get one free on t-shirts. For information, call Debb McNary at (406) 827-3227.
