The Over the Hill Gang pared down play on Monday, challenging each other in a three-club extravaganza. Players could only have three clubs on the round, and one had to be a putter.
The low men’s gross of 41 was shot by Gary Thompson, while Reese Woolford had the low men’s net of 28. Lana Nolen took the low gross for the women with a 51, and Barb Wooden had the low net of 37.
Closest to the pin in 2 on No. 1 was Scott Garr, while Dave Garr had the long putt on No. 2 and No. 4. Chris Gross sank the long putt on No. 3 for the women.
Men’s closest to the pin on No. 5 was Dave Tallant, who also took men’s longest drive on No. 18. Longest drive 70+ on No. 6 went to Charlie Hooten. Longest putt on No. 6 was Sam Bernhardt, with John Pritzkau taking those honors on No. 7 and No. 9, and Gary Thompson sinking it on No. 8.
A chip-in on Monday at River’s Bend went to Buck Adams on No. 4, and Thompson was paid on for par on No. 4.
