They did not go down without a fight but the Hot Springs Savage Heat fell 26-24, 15-25, 25-11, 23-25, 15-12 to the Arlee Scarlets in Hot Springs Thursday.
Freshman phenom Katelyn Christensen led the Savage Heat at the net with 18 kills, four service aces and four blocks, Mckenzie Cannon also hit four blocks, Sydney Jackson dished out 31 assists and Sage Jackson came up with a team-high 27 digs.
The Heat were scheduled to visit Charlo Saturday, but results of that match could not be found by press time.
Coach Alisha Pablo and her Heat are set to host Lincoln Thursday and play in the Mineral County Shootout in Superior and St. Regis Saturday.
