1 dead, suspects sought in shooting

One person was shot and killed late Friday in Agency, off Highway 212 north of Dixon.

The Sanders County Sheriff’s Office, Lake County law enforcement and tribal officers responded to a 911 call late at 11:16 p.m. Friday. Officers found William Conco Camel, 49, dead at the scene, according to a statement given by Rummel.

Sheriff Rummel said that three persons of interest have been identified in connection with the shooting death of Camel.

Sheriff Rummel on Tuesday told The Ledger that no further information was available, and said in his statement that there are no threats to public safety.
