Independently owned since 1905
Are you in need of a getaway, vacation or holiday? If so, now may be the time to book your next adventure to Ireland or Alaska.
Jenny Williams, owner of Jenny’s Travel Agency, LLC, is currently accepting clients for a June 23-30, 2019 trip to Ireland. This is a group trip that Williams will be guiding.
“We will be staying in centrally located boutique hotels and staying overnight in a castle hotel and dining like Lords and Ladies at a Medieval dinner,” Williams stated.
Admission to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College (Book of Kells), Guinness Storehouse, Blarney Castle (to kiss the famous stone), Ring of Kerry, Rock of Cashel and Cliffs of Moher are included in the $2,499 trip fee, according to Williams. This cost is based on double occupancy and does not include airfare or travel protection.
Williams is holding an informational meeting on the Ireland trip Saturday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. until noon at Thompson Falls’ Community Congressional Church, 704 Preston Avenue. She will be offering a $100 discount to those who book on or prior to December 8.
In addition to the Ireland trip, Williams is in the preliminary stages of planning an Alaskan cruise. The cruise is scheduled to embark from Seattle via Ruby Princess Cruise Lines on August 15, tour Glacier Bay National Park, and will return the 22nd. Prices vary, depending on cabin selection. This will also be a group trip guided by Williams.
According to Williams, November to January is the busy season for all travel agents. She claims that travels agents call this the “Wave Season,” because so many people want to escape the cold, dark doldrums of winter and head somewhere warmer.
“Travel agents are experienced, educated and focused on every detail of your trip, to ensure that nothing gets overlooked and everything fits your specific needs,” Williams said. She shared that she is currently enrolled in Travel Institute and earning a degree as a Certified Travel Associate, adding to her credentials.
Alaska, Costa Rica, Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, England and Hawaii are all places Williams has visited. She is looking forward to adding many more to her list.
Williams started Jenny’s Travel Agency, LLC just over five years ago. “It is the best decision I have made,” she commented. “It is so rewarding to help people make memories that last a lifetime.”
There is no service fee for booking through Jenny’s Travel Agency, LLC, according to Williams, so travelers will pay the same regardless if they book online or with her. “The benefit of booking with me is the customer service, they are going to get me from the beginning of the planning stages until after they return,” Williams said.
