Quilts of Valor

HONORING THEIR SERVICE – A group of veterans were recognized for their military service when Ed Foste and Dave Williams presented each of them with a Quilts of Valor custom made quilt. Foste and Williams are members of the nonprofit organization Joint Operation Mariposa, which works with Quilts of Valor, a nationwide nonprofit group. Foste and Williams have received nearly 80 names of veterans in Sanders County for the quilts. Foste said that each quilt is a one of a kind with the person’s name on the quilt. The men were presented the quilts at the VFW in Plains Friday evening.
