The Plains Horsemen rode to another pair of District 14C conference wins last week, driving past the Noxon Red Devils 40-33 in Plains Friday and taking down the Two Eagle River Eagles 60-32 in Pablo Saturday.
In the race for seeding position into the rapidly approaching 14C tournament, the Horsemen will travel to Charlo Friday for a crucial game with the rival Vikings, who knocked off Plains in Plains earlier this season and will likely be gunning to do it again. The Horsemen will host Troy in a non-conference game Saturday.
The Horsemen struggled with Noxon last week but eventually shook off the undermanned Red Devils down the stretch.
Derick Curry led the Horsemen to the win with 16 points, Matt McCracken added 10, Treydon Brouillette seven, Nathan McNulty four, Jake Weyers two and Esvin Reyes one.

Curry again scored 16 points to pace the Horsemen, Brouillette added 15, McCracken 12, Reyes seven, Weyers four, Tucker Foster and Parker Flock two each and Jeremiah Allen one.
