Hawk boys shoot down Devils, Cats

The Blue Hawks boys registered a pair of non-conference wins last week, stopping the Red Devils 44-34 in Noxon Tuesday, Jan.15, and blowing past Clark Fork 59-47 in Superior Friday.

Returning to Class B competition this week, the Blue Hawks will host Troy Friday and Anaconda Saturday.

In Noxon last week, the Hawks jumped out to a 15-4 lead after one quarter and held on from there to post the win.

Kade Pardee led the Hawks to the win with 14 points, nine rebounds and four steals, Ryan Schraeder scored 11 points and three steals, Nathan Schraeder eight points and six steals, Grant Lundberg six points and five rebounds, Jaden Isaac four points, three blocked shots and four rebounds, and Riley Riffle a point and four rebounds.

Against Clark Fork, the Hawks again jumped out to a lead, which was 31-17 by halftime, and went on to the win.

Lundberg burned the Mountain Cats for a team-high 18 points, Pardee scored 15 more, Nathan Schraeder and Isaac added seven apiece, Riffle six, Ethan Brown four and Trey Fisher two.

Aaron Waddle scored 16 points for Clark Fork, Bryan Mask added nine, and Danner Haskins and Michael Spence eight apiece.
