Question of the Week

Do you get a flu shot? Why or why not?

STEVEN HARDY, Plains – “No, I didn’t this year. I’ve gotten it the last five years and I have gotten sick. I thought I’d try something different this year and it seems to be working in my favor.”

JAMES GAYTON, Missoula – “I did because I’ve had the flu during spring break as a kid and don’t want that to happen again. It was a very sick experience, and to be sick on my week off. One of the first dark chapters of my life.”

DIANA DOYLE, Thompson Falls – “I usually do, but this year did not. We just didn’t get anywhere to get it. I think it is a good thing for the elderly and little ones.”

KATHRYN HAWKINS, Trout Creek – “I feel influenza immunizations are important, not only to protect myself, but those I might be around. Yes, I did get it.”

ANGIE WILLIAMS, Thompson Falls – “I don’t get the flu shot because the few times I did, I got sick.”

TARA HERTEL, Thompson Falls – “I did not get the flu shot. The few times I’ve gotten it I have gotten sick. When I have not gotten it, I’ve been good.”
