The Plains Horsemen finished the regular season on the court with two wins last week, beating Noxon 56-44 Thursday and Two Eagle River on Saturday, 61-45.
In Noxon, the Horsemen and Red Devils were tied at 11 after the first quarter, and Plains edged ahead to lead 19-17 at the half. The teams were again close at the end of three quarters, but the Horsemen pulled away with the win in the fourth quarter.
At Noxon, Treydon Brouillette led Plains with 20 points, Jake Weyers scored 18, Matt McCracken had nine, Tucker Foster six, and Esvin Reyes three points. See other story for Noxon results from that game.
The Plains boys beat Two Eagle River on Saturday 61-45. The Horsemen outscored the Eagles in each of the four quarters, leading 34-23 at the half.
Brouillette again led the Horsemen on Saturday with 21 points, Weyers had 12, McCracken dropped 11 points, Reyes had 8, Nathan Feliksa 6, Jeremiah Allen 3, and Foster and Orion Pry-Hyde two apiece. Anthony Charlo led the Eagles with 10 points.
