Hagedorn shoots low as Whitefish CU leads

Hagedorn Land Surveying shot the low team gross but Whitefish Credit Union held onto the league lead in Wednesday Night Men’s League action at River’s Bend last week.

Rick Hagedorn, Ryan Ostwald, Paul Flemmer and Bernie Groshong put together a team round of 169 to give the Land Surveyors the low gross, while wily Wild Coyote duffers Gary Thompson, Scott Pardee, Jake Helvey and Howard Morkert factored in their handicaps to arrive at the low team net of 141.

Ostwald carded the low individual gross of 38 and Jesse Mosher posted the low net of 32.

Whitefish Credit Union leads the current standings with 46.5 team points and Wild Coyote is second with 45.5.

In other Wednesday night doings last week, Pardee was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2 and was also closest to paydirt off the tee on No. 5, Flemmer stroked in the long putt on No. 3, Shawn Morgan rolled in the long putt on No. 6, Mosher was closest to the pin on No. 8 and Rick Kendall crushed the long 55+ drive on No. 9.

Gene Wooden and Groshong (No. 5), Helvey (No. 6) and Wally Gibe (No. 7) all made chip-ins part of their rounds.
