Shanks a Lot crew strikes back for lead

Not so fast, Double H Dirt Works, Shanks a Lot golfers think they know their way around River’s Bend just as well or better than you.

Shanks a Lot team members Dave Garr, Charlie Hooten, Rusty Haggard and Jens Jantzen posted the low team gross of 180 last week to catch up to and pass Double H Dirt duffers Scott Pardee, Ty Pardee, Russ Yeager and Tom Kirkland for the league lead in Tuesday Night Men’s action at the Bend last week.

Undaunted by Shanks a Lot’s strong round, the Double H Dirt guys did post the low team net of 156 as Scott Pardee led his quartet to that honor with the low individual gross of 40.

Doug Gunderson posted the low individual net of 33.

In other Tuesday doings, Scott Pardee ran in the long putt on No. 12 and hit the long drive of the evening on No. 18, Shaun Wilkinson was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 11, Tom Holleran’s tee shot landed closest to the cup on No. 14, Steve Anderson was closest to the pin on No. 8, and Mike Gillmore hit the other long drive, the one for those travelling past 55, on No. 18.

In the chip-in department, Ron Reedy and Sean Kelly each knocked one down on No. 14, Garr converted on No. 16 and Cody Mosher on No. 18.
