Sparky's, Double H Dirt set for Tuesday playoff

One more round of golf will settle it once and for all.

Sparky’s Gutter Time golfers held on to first place through the last week of the second half of regulation play and have forced a playoff with first half winners Double H Dirt Works. That Tuesday night golf grudge match was set to be played earlier this week.

Bear Muscle Fitness golfers Steve Fairbank, Steve Anderson, Cody Mosher and Ricky Hagedorn shot the low team gross of 179 and Double H Dirt Works linksters Scott Pardee, Ty Pardee, Russ Yeager and Jake Helvey posted the low team net of 141 on the last night of regulation action at River’s Bend.

Gary Thompson fired the low individual gross of 41 and Sam Burt celebrated with the low individual net of 32.

In other Tuesday night highlights, Bill Nolen was the man closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Gary Denio ran in the long putt on No. 3, Thompson was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 5, Mosher made the long putt on No. 6, Shaun Wilkinson was closest to the hole off the No. 8 tee, Tim Tholl belted the long drive on No. 9, and Mike Bates bashed the long 55+drive on No. 9.

Kevin Sparks (No. 2), Mosher (No. 4) and Fairbank (No. 4) made chip-in shots part of their final Tuesday night rounds of the season.
