The Wild Coyotes claimed the 2019 Wednesday Night Men’s League crown last week by winning the second half of season play – after winning the first half as well – at River’s Bend.
The Coyote quartet of Gary Thompson, Kevin Sparks, Scott Pardee and Howard Morkert put a ribbon on the season by gunning down the low team gross of 168.
Ron’s Running Dinos quartet of Bruce Sterling, Darrel “Torgy” Torgrimson, Dan Kier and Mark Terrazas shot the low team net of 141.
Kier collected low individual gross honors with a 37 and Dan Whittenburg scored the low individual net of 32.
In hole play, Sparks was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 11, Morkert rolled in the long putt on No. 12, Wally Gibe was closest to the pin on No. 14, Thompson took long-putt honors on No. 15, Rick Hagedorn ended up closest to the flag on No. 17, Mike Scharfe hit the long drive on No. 18 and Kier crushed the long 55+ drive on No. 18.
Ron Beaty holed out the only chip-in of the round on No. 11.
