Local non-profit Project ASCENT held their second annual winter carnival last Saturday, filling the area next to the Wild Coyote with games and fun. Families competed in snowshoe races, rode on hay wagons and brought their sleds to the Wild Coyote's sledding hill for the event.
Andrea Christensen with Project ASCENT said attendance doubled at this year's event as they welcomed about 350 people. The non-profit provides outdoor education and experiences to kids throughout Montana.
