STATE CHAMP

Thompson Falls sophomore Trae Thilmony brought home a championship medal from the state wrestling tournament in Billings Feb. 14-15. He was joined at the state tournament by (top from left) Will McPherson, Dane Chojnacky, Shane Reishus and Elijah Ratliff. At left, coach Mike Thilmony hugs his son Trae after the championship match. Thilmony pinned Tanner Cook of Shepherd in the third period to claim his title (below). A parade of fans and a fire truck escorted the team home Sunday evening.
