Double H Dirt Works shot the low team gross and Feed-N-Fuel the low team net as the Tuesday Night Men’s League teed off on the second half of season action at River’s Bend last week.
Led by the free-swinging Jake Helvey, who shot a 41 for the individual low gross, Scott Pardee, Ty Pardee and Tom Kirkland joined Helvey to post the low team gross of 174 for Double H Dirt Works, while Feed-N-Fuel golfers Mike Normandin, Steve Clark, Doug Gunderson and Dave Petteys added up the low net of 142, led by Petteys’ low individual net of 33.
Feed-N-Fuel took a one-point lead over Double H Dirt Works after the first week of second half action with their hot play, ending the evening with 25.5 team points while Double H Dirt finished with 24.5.
In hole play, Ty Pardee sent the long putt down on No. 3, Tom Holleran was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 5, Jesse Mack added another notch to his putter with the longest putt on No. 6, Randy Hagedorn was closest to the pin on No. 8, Cody Mosher smashed the long drive on No. 9, and Dave Garr hit the long 55+ drive on No. 9.
Hagedorn and Mack both scored chip-ins on No. 3 and Ron Belger stuffed the cup with one on No. 9.
