Should the Coyotes be quarantined?
The Wednesday Night Men’s league just caught the Coyote-20 virus, and more than 80% of the players in the league hope they can fight it off in the next few weeks.
Team Wild Coyote played some sick golf last week at River’s Bend and snuck past the Whitefish CU four last week to take over first place with 92.5 points while Whitefish slides down into second with 89.5.
Hagedorn Land Surveying golfers Ryan Ostwald, Paul Flemmer, Rick Hagedorn and Bernie Groshong shot down the low team gross of 165 as Ostwald posted an amazing four-under par round of 32.
First Security Bank members Mike Baxter, Ben Mummert, Mike Scharfe and Bill Nolen shot the low team net of 142. Jody Doyle copped individual low net honors with a well-adjusted round of 32.
In other viral-free action, Ron Beaty put his ball closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Dan Kier shooed down the long putt on No. 3, Doyle was closest to the pin on No. 5, Ostwald downed the long putt on No. 6 and clubbed the long drive on No. 9, and Flemmer was golden with the shot closest to the pin off the tee on No. 8 and with the long 55+ drive on No. 9.
Baxter (No. 4) and River’s Bend icon Jesse Mack (No. 8) connected on chip-in shots Wednesday.
