So you want a fairway fight? A duel to be the first Tuesday men to River’s Bend’s clubhouse door as the season winds down?
Sorry about that guys but it might just have to wait until next season now, after the Double H Dirt golfers dominated league play last week, building a 13-point lead heading into the dying throes of season play.
Led by Scott Pardee, who brought home the bacon with the low individual gross of 41, Double H’s other brothers Ty Pardee, Kade Pardee and Tom Kirkland chimed in the register the low team gross of 166.
Lakeside Motel and Resort golfers Rusty Sharp, Shawn Wilkinson, Arthur Potts and Scott Garr shot the low team net of 140, and Steve Fairbank the low individual net of 31.
In hole play, Mike Thilmony cashed in with the ball closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Steve Clark put the hammer down on the long putt on No. 3, Howard Morkert was closest to the tee off the pin on No. 5, Kade Pardee made long-putt news on No. 6, Rusty Haggard hit his tee shot closest to paydirt on No. 8, Kevin Sparks spanked the long drive on No. 9 and Garr gained River’s Bend fame with the long 55+ drive on No. 9.
Ron Belger (no. 3) and Don Lake (No. 5) made off-the-green dreams come true with chip-in shots.
