Kevin Sparks lit up River’s Bend last week, shooting down a straight-up 38 to lead the Tuesday night men around the Bend in weekly league action. John Mosher factored in his meager handicap to arrive at the low net of 32.
In team play, the double-hot Double H Dirt Works four of Scott Pardee, Ty Pardee, Russ Yager and Tom Kirland posted the low team gross of 178 while Bear Muscle Fitness golfers Rick Hagedorn, Mosher, his son Cody Mosher and Steve Fairbank joined forces to post the low net of 147.
Double H continues to maintain a double-digit point lead in the team standings.
In hole play, Ty Pardee was the guy closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Mike Normandin made short work of the long putt on No. 3, Ron Beaty rapped his tee shot closest to paydirt on No. 5, David Reedy drained the long putt on No. 6, Steve Clark took aim at No. 8 with the shot closest to the hole, Arthur Potts punished his dimpled playing partner with the long drive on No. 9, and Bill Nolen pulled out the big guns for the long 55+ drive on No. 9.
Don Lake splashed in a chip-in shot on No. 1 and Sparks splished one in on No. 3.
