Know protocol for flag care

Veterans are noticing the failure of a couple local businesses and some government buildings to adhere to American flag protocol. I recognize the inconvenience of lowering and raising flags on weekends and holidays to honor our patriotic national holidays, first responders and deaths of national figures. But imagine the inconvenience of serving in World Wars I and II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, not to mention serving daily, often away from family, in other distant parts of the world. And consider the heartache of families who lost loved ones serving under this flag, only to see it disrespected.
