14C net action heats up

The Hot Springs Savage Heat batted down the St. Regis Tigers, and Charlo downed Noxon in District 14C volleyball action last Tuesday, October 6.

Leading the Savage Heat’s win in St. Regis, Lizzy Fisher had five digs, three assists and three kills as Hot Springs won 25-9, 25-14, 25-22. Katelyn Christensen added six digs.

In Charlo’s 25-18, 25-16, 25-13 win over Noxon in Charlo, Avery Burgess hit five kills to lead the Lady Red Devils, Vanessa Horner blocked three shots, Riley Richter his seven assists and four digs, and Mia Vogel four digs.

Kassidi Cox and Carlee Fryberger hit five kills each for Charlo, Fryberger also had nine digs and five service aces, and Connor Fryberger had 12 set assists.

Up this week in 14C volleyball for Sanders County teams, Noxon will host Lincoln Thursday and Charlo Saturday, Hot Springs will visit Victor Thursday and host Clark Fork next Tuesday, and Plains will host Seeley-Swan Thursday and visit Philipsburg Saturday.
