Still getting to know each other after several starts and stops to the season due to COVID-19 protocols, coach Ben Johnson and his Noxon Red Devil boys played two games last week, falling 50-35 to the Savage Heat in Hot springs Friday and then losing 70-42 to Clark Fork in Noxon Saturday.
Now 0-3 in their abbreviated season, the Devils were set to host Charlo Tuesday (results were not available) and will then turn around and play the Vikings again in Noxon Saturday. The quick rematch with Charlo is a result of a game postponed earlier this season.
The Devils played well against Hot Springs, one of the best teams in 14C so far this winter, but the Heat managed to take control with a 13-4 win of the third quarter, giving Hot Springs a 35-18 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Brody Hill scored 15 points to pace Noxon, Jeriko Roach-Smith added eight, and Nate Cano, Derreck Christensen and Cade VanVleet four apiece.

Cano bucketed 15 points, VanVleet and Christensen six each, Roach-Smith five, Hill and Wyatt Lackner four apiece and Jared Webley two in the game with Clark Fork.
Aaron Waddle led a balanced Mountain Cat scoring attack with 17 points, Darren Haskins chipped in with 17, Carson Callison 16 and Bryan Mask 13.
