Hawk JV play varsity

Not your average junior varsity basketball team, the Thompson Falls Lady Hawk JV are actually just as good, or better than some of the varsity teams in the area.

Proving this fact of basketball life, coach Michael Benson’s very good Lady Hawk JV defeated the Valley Christian varsity 56-36 in Thompson Falls last Tuesday.

Chesney Lowe led the Lady Hawks to the win with 22 points, including four 3-pointers, Dannijo VanHuss scored 13, Julissa Bonney six, Roni Hanks five, Abbi Lane and Kenzie Robins three each, and Hattie Neesvig and Cheyla Irvine two apiece.

Taylor Vance and Lanaya Gedney scored nine points each for the Valley girls.
