It was as easy as 1-2-3 for Easy Street Autoworks.
Taking a break from hard-core league play last week, Easy Street Autoworks golfers Ron Beaty, Dave Garr, Jens Jantzen, Charlie Hooten and Rusty Haggard combined for a net score of 60 to win the 1-2-3 night of play in Tuesday Night Men’s League action at River’s Bend.
Leading everyone around the Bend this time, Brian Foster fired a straight-up 39 for the low gross score while Howard Morkert used his handicap to arrive at the best low net of 29.
In other Tuesday highlights, Kade Pardee was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Scott Garr rolled in the long putt on No. 3, David Reedy was closest to the pin on No. 5, Mike Thilmony knocked in the long putt on No. 6, Steve Clark was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 8, Ryan Ostwald hit the long drive on No. 9 and Morkert smashed the long 55+ drive on No. 9.
Morkert and Hooten (No. 1), Clark (No. 4) and Bruce Sterling and Morkert again (No. 7) all made chip-ins last week.
Easy Street Autoworks and Feed-N-Fuel remain tied for first place in league standings with 42.5 points and Internet Kitchen and Custom Ventures are tied for third with 40.5. Regular league play resumes this week.
