Emmery Josephson of the Plains U12 softball team makes it safely home as Mission Bulldog catcher Sierra Blood gets the ball late and can't make the play. It looked as though Plains would come back from a 10-run deficit in the final inning, but couldn't pull it off. Mission won 23-20. Jon Zigler is the umpire at last Monday's game at Plains.
