Good day on the green

The First Security Bank team consisting of Mike Baxter, Bill Nolen, Mike Thilmony and Scott Pardee performed the best in Wednesday night play at River’s Bend last week. The team as a whole finished with a low team gross of 177. The Big Eddy’s/Limberlost Brewery team consisting of Doug Fisher, John Torres, Doug Czerwinski and John W. Torres combined for the low team net of 146. Mike Baxter took the low individual gross at 40 and Steve Fairbank had the low individual net round of 34.

On the course, Ron Beaty was closest to the pin in three on No. 2, Dave Petteys had the long putt on No. 3, Nathan Snead was closest to the pin on No. 5, Mike Normandin took the long putt on No. 6, John Mosher’s drive was closest to the pin on No. 8 and Scott Pardee and Ron Beaty had the longest drive on No. 9.

Baxter, Thilmony and Czerwinski each landed a chip-in during their play and Steve Fairbank managed to sink two. Baxter made a chip-in on No. 12, Thilmony on No. 14, Czerwinski on No. 15 and Fairbank on No. 12 and No. 14 .
