Ladies tee off season

Teammates Barb Petteys and Kelly Wheeler performed in an outstanding manner during Thursday night play at River’s Bend last week. The team finished strong in first place with a low team gross of 109. Liz Morkert and Lana Nolen combined for the low team net of 77, Nolen took the low individual gross at 51 and Jeanne Holleran had the low individual net round of 35. On the course, Nolen had the long putt on No. 3, Kelly Wheeler was closest to the pin on No. 5, and Katie Miller hit the longest drive on No. 6 and Marshanna Drop landed a chip-in during her play on No. 4.
