Hill Gang does best with 3

The Over the Hill Gang competed in a a special three club game at River's Bend. During play each golfer was afforded the use of only two clubs and one putter this past sunny Monday.

Playing the three club format the best, Will Mitchell and Scott Garr captured the men’s low gross and low net. Mitchell took the low gross with a 45 and Garr the low net with a 36. The women's low net was claimed with ease by Liz Morkert with a score of 54.

In other play of the day, Dave Garr claimed closest to the pin in two on No. 10, closest to the pin on No. 14, the longest putt on 15, and the longest putt of the day on No. 11. Liz Morkert rolled in the long putt on No. 12 and Jerry Neal sent the long putt home on No. 13. Bruce Craw smashed the long 70+ drive on No. 15 and Dan Whittenburg earned long putt honors on No. 16. Mitchell sank the long putt on No. 17 and Liz Morkert rolled in the long putt on No. 18. John Mosher belted out the long drive on No. 18.

Steve Fairbank (No. 13), Scott Garr and Whittenburg (No. 17) all made chip-ins during Monday morning's round. Pay for par was claimed by both Gary Thompson on No. 13 and Scott Garr on No. 17.

Whittenburg had the only birdie in play on No. 17.
