Rimrock offers free youth bowling program

Thanks to the generosity of Rimrock Lanes and other local businesses, the Thompson Falls USBC is able to offer a free youth bowling program. The program is open to bowlers age 7-18 with the ability to lift and roll a 6-pound bowling ball. Parents are asked to purchase an association membership card for the bowler for $2.

The program is on Sunday afternoons 1-4 p.m. The session ends between 2:30 and 4 p.m. depending on the number of bowlers, and runs for approximately 12 weeks. Bowlers taking advantage of this free program must commit to the entire 12 weeks of the program. During the season, there will be special tournaments for youth and parents in which to participate. The season will end with a fun day featuring an award ceremony and party.

All interested bowlers can show up at Rim Rock Lanes at 1 p.m. on Sunday or call program director Mariah Davis at (406) 291-9014.
