Focus on the students

Trout Creek School. Why is so many people worked up about our little school. It used to be well run teacher and para were treated with respect. Oh, wait a minute, it’s not all about teacher and para. It should be all about our kids. After all, if it weren’t for our children there would be no school in Trout Creek, so let’s talk about them instead of archery. Oh, and by the way I love archery and the program, but what about our music, program, our track and field. Oops, we don’t have them anymore. Why? Our principal took them away because archery was more important. We have two great coaches, a para and her husband who took over the archery program. If they hadn’t there would be a program. But back to our kids. Are they getting a good education? Are they not important? Should they have extra curriculars taken away? In the past two years we have lost about nine paras and teachers, and we are losing more this year. About most of our para and teachers and workers. Why? Because of management. This pattern seems to of happened at other school sometimes when speaking to someone you do not know how they truly are and what they want to get credit for. Don’t forget education is more important than extracurricular. I know I work at Trout Creek School. There is an old saying, don’t judge a book by its cover.

P.S. Our school board works hard for us.
