Soggy round for Gang

The Over the Hill Gang braved the aftermath of a late spring thunderstorm Monday for another round of play at River's Bend Golf Course.

Dave Garr (41) and Larry Eddy (34) had the respective low gross and net rounds, and Garr also won the pay for par competition with a par on No. 2.

Jens Jantzen sank the long putt on No. 2, Scott Garr had the longest putts on No. 3 and No. 7, Gary Thompson smashed the long drive on No. 6, the long putt on No. 6 and also was closest to the pin on No. 5. Charlie Hooten had the long putt on No. 4, Dave Petteys hit the long drive on No. 9 and Darrell "Torgy" Torgrimson added a chip-in on No. 2 to his scorecard.

The Hill gang will be hoping for less soggy fairways next Monday as they meet again.
