Ron, Lana lead Hill play

The Over the Hill Gang was back in action following the Memorial Day break. Ron Beaty and Lana Nolen had the low gross rounds of 38 and 44 this Monday, as Dave Petteys and Kristy Beaty led the gang with low net scores of 33 and 41, respectively.

Four golfers added chip-ins to their cards at River’s Bend, including Randy Hojem on No. 11, the Daves (Petteys and Garr) on No. 13 and Bary Moore on No. 18 for a birdie. Ron Beaty also had the men’s long drive on No. 18 and his drive was closest to the pin on No. 17, while Ed Mack was closest to the pin on No. 14. Wally Gibe sank the long putts on No. 11 and No. 12, Liz Morkert took that honor on No. 13 and Carter Meyer on No. 16. Jesse Mack’s second shot was the closest on hole 10, while Rebecca Gripp had the long putt on No. 18.
