The annual Big Sky Blues Festival filled the west end with rhythmic sounds last weekend as the three-day festival brought hundreds of visitors to Pilgrim Creek Park in Noxon.
Bands including Eric's Maine Connection (top right) entertained people from all over the northwest at the festival.
Legends and new artists were together in Sanders County for the weekend. Layla Musselwhite (bottom) matched her soulful voice with the energetic musical talents of Jimmy Robinson. Both are from New Orleans. Robinson used his whole guitar as an instrument during their Saturday afternoon set, strumming and carrying a beat all at once. "This is a beautiful festival. I'm so happy to be in Montana," Musselwhite said.
As is tradition, the festival ended Sunday with an all-star jam. The Noxon pep band (middle right) got a unique opportunity to perform for he crowd prior to the all-star jam, taking the stage to show off their talents.
